Rosa & Stan’s Wedding

 

Mother of four, Rosa Marsella tied the knot with Stan Barnes along the breathtaking Cilento coast in Southern Italy this July.

 

The Meeting

We met 17 years ago when Stan was playing a soccer match and I was a spectator. We started dating 15 years ago when he plucked up the courage to ask me out.

 

The Proposal

Stan proposed to me at dinner just after Christmas almost two years ago. He didn’t manage to get down on one knee but is normally very romantic so I didn’t mind!

 

The Dress

I bought my dress in Ciara Bridal in Powerscourt Townhouse Centre after a couple of months looking. I looked in Italy and in Ireland and thought I would never find something that I loved. When I saw the dress I was with my sisters and we all fell in love with it straight away.

 

The Venue

We got married in the South of Italy in a stunning Palazzo, along the beautiful Cilento Coast. For our preview trip in September last year we traveled throughout the south of Italy, crossing three different regions looking at different locations with Paola Shanahan and Irish Weddings in Italy. We fell in love with The Palazzo, its gardens, its own private beach, and its amazing views of the sea. It was a beautiful home for us, our families and friends for almost a week.
